 Today I had a meeting with Stoke South MP Rob Flello and fellow ward Councillor Stan Bate, we are trying to ensure that the Cenotaph in Albert Square next to the Magistrates Court is illuminated with recessed LED uplighting ideally before this years rememberance sunday in November. We will be bidding for additional funding to add to the existing PFI project that will replace the current lighting in the Fenton conservation area with heritage style lighting more sympathetic to the square.

Albert Square is undoubtedly one of the most attractive Squares in the City and will be further enhanced once the lighting project is completed.
