LICHFIELD DISTRICT COUNCIL
CONGRATULATIONS..Nina Dawes Chief Exceutive of Lichfield District Council has been awarded the OBE in the New Years Honours List. The citation reads "OBE for services to Local Government and to Flood Rescue in Staffordshire".This is not only a recognition of the outstanding contribution Nina has made to the work of Lichfield District Council, but a commendation to all the team, particularly all those involved in the flood relief efforts. Members too were on the front line during the floods. Nina I am sure members of the authority will join me in extending our congratulation for a well deserved honour.

A warning that forged £20 notes are in circulation in Burntwood and Lichfield. Be aware, check your notes, if in doubt check with your bank. Inform the Police if you are able to trace the source, should you find you have one.
