For the last four years the Tories on North Lincs council have used Scunthorpe and it's residents as a means of high council tax in North Lincs to divide the rural areas against Scunthorpe This is totaly  untrue as we all pay the same in council tax throughout North Lincs on a banding system on the value of your property. In the majority of rural areas they may pay a Parish precept which can differ throughout. In Scunthorpe they all pay a special expense for services provided localy for such as parks, community centres. This is and has been a total myth throughout to divide communties in North Lincolnshire.   

In a few days on may 3rd you will be able to vote to say who will represent you for the next four years in Crosby/Park you will have 3 vote's, use your votes wisely by voting LABOUR 3 times

After being contacted by residents living in the Frodingham Road area expressing their concerns about the removal of their post box on Frodingham Road.  I contacted the Royal Mail, Glasgow Contact Centre, PO Box 740, Glasgow, G22 6WW (http://www.royalmail.com/) asking them whether there were any plans to relocate this box box. I suggested that a good place to relocate it would be near the Londis pharmacy/supermarket. 

I received a response from the Customer Service Advisor regrettably stating that there are no plans to provide additional boxes in the area but they will monitor the situation in case circumstances change.

I really do find this unbelievable that on such a busy public route there is no demand for a post box!  I would urge people to write to the Royal Mail if their post boxes are under threat.

On May the 3rd most Local Authorities up and down the Country will be holding Elections this give's you the opportunity to say who will represent you for the next four years

It is such a shame that turn out can be as low as 20% you can make a difference use you vote and don't let democracy die out like the Dinasaur
