RAIN RAIN RAIN BUT NOT FASTER

Yesterday the rain came down but at 15.00 hrs it really came down to the extent that Central park became a lake and water came flooding into Pittwood House and the staff had to evacuate the building. The Chief Executive and the Emergency planning team set up in the Buttercross in Brigg where they set up a control centre to work with police and fire services and have worked around the clock to help and assist throughout North Lincs and further, this will still go on throughout the night and into tomorrow let's hope the rain keeps away so that the land can drain and the river Ancholme water level drops but thanks should go out to all that has took part from filling sand bags helping pump out to running the incident room Thank You
