Gypsy/travellers leave Conesby site
I am delighted to reveal the gypsy and traveller community living at Conesby have now left the site. They have moved out of North Lincolnshire and the site is now back in our control and is closed. As I have blogged previously the council served a notice to vacate the site on July 25 but they refused to move. They failed to pay rent and were abusive to people including council officers and the police.
However, they have now gone and the site will be closed. I would like to thank everyone involved in the process and those who have commented on my blog.
