Full Coucil 24th September

On Wednesday we have a Full Council Meeting where I understand there will be a question asked about Gypsy and Travellers Sites and the next step that we take after the consultation. We have had over 850 replies and it would of been more if we could include the racist and nasty comments that some people have put, but of course we can't.

I will post a report on my blog on thursday about the meeting and put right some of the mis-information being put out by the Tories of North Lincs. The people of Barton and Brigg have been let down badly by their local councillors with them not responding on a personal point to the local sites. The tory councillors of Barton and Brigg have put in a response on the numbers of pitches and this as been put forward by the tory group as a whole. As usual they have got it wrong and as I've said before, are not representing their constituents as well as they should.

I trust the Labour Group will be reminding the Tory Group and their useless Brigg ward councillors of the instances of their failures, double standards and hypocrisy. During their control of the Council, they had a duty of influence over the Highways and Planning Service. They aided and abetted the self interests of their Smithby cronies and in so doing failed to represent the wider interests of their Bonby constituents. For example by allowing development of the Southfield site on the Low Wolds scar and failing to back up the community to oppose the T Mobile mast proposal. Too right that we have been badly let down!!
