Re; The Gypsy & Travellers Site...Having read your report I would like to ask you just one question. " Would you like to have this site 2 or 3 hundred yards within your business-knowing that your business will suffer through theft and destruction?" Mr Godfrey has worked hard turning a field into a purpose built stadium, and we are the envy of other towns and cities with speedway interests. Why should thieves and robbers have priority over us law abiding citizens? We were without our sport for over twenty years and speedway supporters was delighted when Mr Godfrey brought it back to Scunthorpe, Our team has had so much success over the past 2 years winning back to back championships. I beg of you and other councillors to close this site down!
