For many years now the Mayors office has given a medal for 50 years of working in Bath for one firm and I think it's a marvellous idea but they are getting very rare now.

I n 2004 the standing committee which over sees what the Mayor decided that it would be correct to bring another one in, but for forty years and it has proven very popular so If you know anyone that has worked in Bath area for forty years, so please get in touch with Elizabeth Mence in the Mayors office and she will sort it out.

 I think it's great that we recognise people that work in the City of Bath and we hope you do as well.  

Hi,been busy here in Bath I've tried to highlight 'Caring' into My role as Mayor in Bath and what I have found with people looking after disabled or ill relatives that is they probably don't always  have the right benefits or people feel that it is their duty to look after relatives when also if they make sure they have the right benefits they could manage a lot better.

Also I have found that a lack of funding in a lot of quarters and I just don't just mean from local funding I actually mean Goverment funding not going to look after disabled people the way they should be they are living longer . Im not saying they're not getting looked after properly, they are. extremely well I just think we can do better  So if any MP's are reading this then please support putting more money into looking after severely disabled people and larger accomodation .
