Wedding Ball (Born Too Soon) Sandown Park 14th April 2007
Alice & Bryan Austin are in the centre and are responsible for this wonderful event. They thought of the idea that many women had their wedding dresses tucked away and would love the opportunity to wear them again. Many more came in their wedding clothes, including the husbands.
However, there was a very sad story behind may present. Mr & Mrs Austin lost their daughter and grand daughter through meningitis. I remember Gillian when she was a pupil at Coombe Girls' School.

Long Service Awards Thursday 12th April 2007The Long Service Awards go to employees of the Borough.
All present have 25years service to the Borough - well done!
It was good to be part of Carol Mitchell's award, she and I taught together at Coombe Girls' School.
