Councillor Steve Swift

A number of comments have been passed to me over the last week or so regarding the number of street lights that are out on the Chancel Estate, especially the streets of Merton Road, Chesney Drive and Newnham Crescent.

After taking this up with the Highways Department at North Linolnshire Council it emerges that there is an ongoing supply problem concerning the Electricity Company.

With some luck thses will hopefully be addressed with some urgency.

Residents living in and around the Bloors Development in Bottesford (Baldwin Avenue, Siskin Crescent, Wren Close, Dunnock Close, Martin Close, Fieldfare Close, Robin Close, Merryweather Court etc.) have questioned the amount of activity being carried out to the green and open spaces. 

The work is all part of bringing the areas up to an 'adoptable standard' ready for the transfer to North Lincolnshire Council, which hopefully should be complete by Spring 2007 (the land presently still in the ownership of the developer).
