SUCCESS FOR SUNNINGDALE ROAD

After months and years of campaigning, Sunningdale Road is at long last to get an overall.

The stretch of road between 'Enderby Road' and 'Goodwood' is to receive a reconstruction and resurfacing of the highway, the installation of new lighting columns, the resurfacing of the footways and the replacement of guard rails outside the school among other improvements.

The work due to begin this month has been a long time coming and will hopefully put right what must be one of the worst pieces of cariageway in the district.
