APATHY or CONTENTMENT

I along with my fellow Bottesford Town Councillors attended the Annual Town Meeting last night (March 31st) ready to listen to the views of the people of Bottesford.

This is of course an opportunity for local residents to raise any issues with the Council, good or bad, which they may hold views on or concerns about. Yet despite the meeting being advertised around the town on notice boards, columns, shop windows and the local press not a single resident of Bottesford's 10,000 adult population took the opportunity to attend.

Is this a good thing or bad, apathy or contentment ?
