UNTIDY SNICKETS
Over the last few months I have received an increasing number of concerns over the tidiness of snickets within the ward.
'Timberland to Grange Lane South', 'Austin Crescent to Messingham Road', 'Audern Road to Messingham Road' and 'Mason Drive to St. Davids Crescent' to name a few.
Obviously on the receipt of such complaints, I pursue the cleaning up of them by the Council.
But why should it be that some members of the public have such a disregard for other users and those living adjacent to these snickets ?
And why do people think it perfectly alright to discard litter, beer cans and allow their dogs to foul in such places, when they wouldn't elsewhere ?
Unfortunately I don't have the answers but a little respect wouldn't go amiss.
