BOTTESFORD GRAFFITI HOT-SPOTS

I find it a crying shame that no matter where I go in my capacity as a local Councillor, whether it be the Neighbourhood Action Team, the Town Council, residents' meetings etc that the number one issue of the moment is graffiti hot-spots.

Do we really have a nation of youth that were so deprived of crayons and colouring books as youngsters, that we, as a society, have to endure their less than artistic daub on every public building and utility in every street ?

I believe not !

Wouldn't it be good to concentrate on introducing new schemes and initiatives into our communities instead of having to continually use well earned tax payers money to clear up after others ?

Until such times as we have a more respective community as a whole, anyone having problems with graffiti in their neighbourhood or street can contact me via this blog site or at my e-mail address steve.swift@northlincs.gov.uk when best efforts, through the Council, will be made to remove the offending material.
