I attended the North Lincolnshire Neighbourhood Network Event on Wednesday evening at the South Leys Campus, which was well attended by people and organisations right across the area.

However the highlight of the evening for me was seeing the Bottesford based Black Beauty Neighbourhood Watch Group pick up one of the three HANWaG awards available for 'Watch Groups'.

As Chair of the Bottesford Neighbourhood Action Team, I am aware of the amount of time and effort put into the local community on a voluntary basis by the Black Beauty Team as well as other Watch Groups in their areas, not just in Bottesford but right across North Lincolnshire.
