I'm still coughing but do they really think those high earners are going to cough up the extra tax after the many months they have to plan how to avoid it - I don't think so.  And as for the VAT cut announced - no savings for those in low incomes in essential items like gas and electricity; lots of savings on the big expensive imports for the better off.  I know I am not well, but I cannot see any "socialist" left in this Government.

Locally I am very disappointed in a partnership meeting on housing issues, and dealing with the issues around homelessness.  A great opportunity of some real action by all the necessary partnerships around locally lost.

Better news at home when I have a message offering some really good items for homeless people.  At least there is some humanity left around.
