Coming together with trees

It is good when different aspects of life come together, and they did this morning.  It was the first planting in Butterwick Wood, in Newham Grange Park.  Trees were being planted by people in memory of loved one's who had died, or just to celebrate an event.  The cost was only £20 with the profits, of course, going to the hospice.  The outreach service of the Hospice had been one of my charities whilst mayor; Newham Grange Park is in my ward and I am proud of it and the work done by the Friends of Newham Grange Park.  And, of course, I believe in planting more trees!
