I have received unconfirmed information from the Police that the Bail Hostel in Redland Park will be closed in a very short period of time. This comes after many residents and your Local Councillors complained about lack of consultation on its arrival in Redland Park 6 months ago.

I will keep residents informed of further developments on this issue as soon as I have clarification of the facts. The one thing that has come out of all of this is that never again will large bodies take Twerton for granted as this Bail House should never have been put in Redland Park in the first place and people power has resulted in its removal.
