Twerton Bath

Somer Housing have committed themselves to improving all the security doors and adding new security locks to the outer doors of all its blocks of flats in Twerton by January 2009.

At a PACT meeting a few months ago this was one of the top priorities for residents and we are delighted that Somer has listened to the call of its residents.

The New doors will be new half glazed Hardwood doors with an outward opening system working off a magnetic lock with a fob operating system.

The new systems have already proved effective in other areas where they have been installed over the past few years.

The new doors and locks will increase security and reduce vandalism and so in the end will save money and cause less heart ache for the residents that live in the blocks of flats.

So on this occasion we can say well done Somer your residents will be pleased with the action that you have taken.
