Wessex Water in Local Road work problems

The latest Road reports show that there is likely to be disruption in local roads over the next few weeks Wessex water are carrying out works at several locations that will cause some disruption.

Twerton PACT set new priorities

The Second Meeting of the Twerton PACT was held last night at St Michaels Junior School with about 30 residents in attendance who set the next he next 3 Priorities.

And these are

  • 1) More Police Patrols at Night on foot.
  • 2) Community Cleaning programme
  • 3) Community relations awareness.

Progress on all these items will be reported to the next PACT meeting on September 11th 6pm St Michaels Junior School.

Road Works at Newton Road

If you are out and about in a car you may wish to avoid Newton Road as there are ongoing Road works at the Pennyquick end that may cause some delays.

The light controlled system that has been put in was causing some hold ups this morning.

Twerton Councillors Surgery Date Change

Due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to cancel the Twerton Ward Surgery that was due to be held this Saturday.

We have set a new date for a surgery of 21st June 10am The Hut Hinton Close and no appointment is required.

Twerton PACT tonight 6pm 3rd June.
