Lidl proposed development Lower Bristol Road.

Lidl have now held 2 open days to show off their plans for the development of the former Herman Miller site on the Lower Bristol Road the first on was held at Twerton Village Hall last week which over 400 local residents visited. A second open day was held on Wednesday 25th February at the Guildhall in Bath where hundreds more people attended.

Lidl have described the open days as a great success with the vast majority of visitors welcoming their plans. We understand that if their latest planning application is approved they will be in a position to develop and open a new store by the end of the year.

The issue of travellers on site is still causing concern and Lidl have told us that they are now taking legal action to have them removed.

THEY ARE STILL IN RESIDENCE, RIPPING UP TRESS, LEAVING LITTER, DOGS RUNNING AROUND ETC.
EXACTLY WHAT ARE THE SANITATION AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONSEQUENCES AND WHY DOES BANES TOLERATE THIS FOR THE LAST FIVE MONTHS?
LIDL/BANES NEEDS TO SORT THIS OUT. WHY HAVE THEY FAILED TO DO SO?
CAN'T YOU PUT PRESSURE ON THEM?
